We have a plan in place to reduce the mileage we do in our vehicles last year our vehicles travelled almost 1 million Kilometers, we are currently using our tracking system and custom reports to minimize travel which will reduce fuel use, reduce tyre wear, reduce oil use, and will reduce the time spent on the road network, will increase productivity and have a positive impact on the drivers wellbeing.

Health and Safety: Eltel-UK take the health and safety of its staff and suppliers very seriously. We are proud members of Citation, a health and safety and training consultancy company.

Constantly challenging unsafe acts and behavior has helped maintain a safe place to work. We use “dont walk by” to record and monitor incidents and near misses, this identifies trends and helps us to maintain our excellent safety record.

Training: Our world is constantly changing, and so is the way we manage our workers’ training records and assessments, every operative working on behalf of Eltel-UK Ltd currently holds a Smart awards card, often referred to as a NOPS card, a simple scan of an operatives QR code shows all accreditation’s and certificates, meaning they only have to carry one card for all instead of one card per certification.

Atlas, a citation company, allows us to maintain safety training records for all of our workers, alerts us when they are due to expire, and automatically invites the operative to re sit the online course, we can also offer public users and sub contractors the opportunity to be trained and re: trained using their own unique log in details on hundreds of different subjects which upon successful testing provides the user with a ROSPa certificate, a nationally recognized certificate “the Royal society for the prevention of accidents”

We have also recently teamed up with MP Plant Training Ltd of Stockton on Tees to help us maintain our workforce’s certification and re assessments.
