Company Profile 2014

About us: Eltel-UK limited, formed in 2009 by brothers Michael and Adam Ritchie, We are currently working with Carillion /Telent, on a national contract for BT/Openreach. Covering the North East of England, and have recently acquired work with North Midland Construction for Vodafone.

Michael Ritchie director, “We employ some very dedicated staff, and have some of the best, if not the best labour only sub contractors on the Bt/Openreach contract, with the help, determination and dedication of everyone involved, we will make 2014 a success.”

We are currently working on mainly TELecom contracts for major clients, working on various road widening schemes throughout the North East along side some well known construction companies, we are also involved in some high profile networks for the MOD, our most recent contract with North Midland Construction has brought our services to one of their clients “Vodafone”. We have the ability to set up pilot depots across the country with teams dedicated to supplying for our customers. It has been announced that Carillion-Telent jv our main client, has been awarded works on the new BDUK programme, providing broadband to remote villages throughout the North Yorkshire area, providing us with additional work volumes over the next couple of years.

Quality: Eltel-UK will supply a quality service to the utility industry, we source all of our materials from suppliers locally, we aim to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients and demonstrate consistently high class of standards of professionalism. Our service / product will be delivered in accordance with all requirements of our clients.

Environment: Eltel-UK are very conscientious about their impact on the environment, and as such have put in place a target of reducing waste to landfill by 90% by 2015, we have recently achieved iso14001:2004 certification with BSI.  

Health and Safety: Eltel-UK take the health and safety of its staff and suppliers very seriously, with this in mind we will aim to become OHSAS 18001 certified by 2015, this will further enhance our profile whilst benefiting all involved making sure they are safe whilst at work. We use “dont walk by” to record and monitor incidents and near misses, this identifies trends and helps us to improve overall.

Training: Eltel-UK can now offer training, We are working closely with training suppliers and colleges and have offered apprenticeship’s through Stockton Riverside College, this has had a massive impact on our performance as a company, whilst benefiting from an  additional lower cost work force we are also providing excellent opportunities for individuals willing to learn our industry.
